घरेलु हादसे- 'कौशल' का कौशल

शनिवार का ज़िन्दगी में बड़ा महत्व है। फुर्सत के लम्हों में नए विचारों का जन्म होता है। शनि देव की कृपा से मुझे लिखने की प्रेरणा भी इसी दिन मिलती है।
शाम को चाय का वक़्त हुआ। मैडम को काफी खोजने के बाद भी अदरक नहीं मिल रहा था।  अलमारी, फ्रीज में भी नहीं दिखा।  ६ बजे कौशल आया।  उसे पाक कला में कौशल प्राप्त है और वह  रात का खाना बनाता है।
" कौशल, अभी अदरक मंगाया था, कैसे ख़त्म हो गया? " मैडम ने चाय में चीनी डालते हुए पूछा।
" बाहर रखा है , अभी लाता हूँ" कौशल बगीचे की तरफ जाते हुए बोला।  मन में शंकाएँ लिए हम दोनों भी उसके पीछे गए।  प्याज़, अदरक को आजकल जेवरों की तरह हिफाज़त से रखना पड़ता है।  बगीचे में कौशल ने मिट्टी खोदी। अदरक निकला।
हम दोनों के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गयी। अदरक के बगल में  उसने मिट्टी में धनिया गाड़ रखी थी।
" फ्रीज में ताजा नहीं रहता मैडम , इसलिए यहाँ रखता हूँ" कौशल ने मासूमियत से बताया। उसका घरेलु इनोवेशन देखकर हम खुश हो रहे थे।  महत्वाकंशी इंजिनियर, वैज्ञानिक तो इतनी देर में पेटेंट भी करा दें। पर वो कम पढ़ा लिखा, इंटर पास है। अपेक्षाएं कम, योगदान ज्यादा करता है ।
 " तुम्हारी चाये भी चढ़ा दी थी मैंने, पी लेना" मैडम ने इनाम देते हुए कौशल को कहा।

  

Shudh desi cinema...

Saturday evenings are meant to celebrate. Entertainment on weekends is as if not more important as files on working days. At 6:15pm we suddenly decided to go for the 6:30 show- "shudh desi romance" in a desi cinema hall. The idea was to watch a movie in an ambiance which suits its philosophy.
We reached the old cinema hall& spotted the ticket queue. The ticket window was designed so that not even your hand can go inside it. When you peep inside the grills you can find an old ticket seller  sitting with his pink coloured ticket booklet, reluctant to hand those thin universal tickets without money in his hands. These tickets are constitutional in nature, they dont discriminate between movies, show timings, giving only price details like 100rs/70rs/30rs.
After getting the 100rs tickets we were escorted to the privileged cushioned seats at the back of the hall. The rest of the seats in front of us were wooden. The movie begun, justifying its title. Parineeti Chopra was too good  in particular, eclipsing the newcomer Sushant Rajput completely. Here I would restrict myself to the cinema hall review rather than movie review, since better movie critics are available elsewhere. I have a habit of looking around the structure of the hall..  physical&social structure... before i could concentrate on the movie. Few couples could be spotted in different dark corners of the hall  having not so cinematic intentions. The walls were covered with large, black speakers & huge, brown, slow moving, fans giving psychological relief from the hot& humid weather. Ambiance is as crucial as the drama itself, infact it is a part of the complete experience that we get in those 2-3 hrs. We came out laughing after 2.5 hours, getting the perfect dose of entertainment.
